Congratulations, Class of 2024!
The University of Maine’s 2024 commencement ceremonies for graduate and undergraduate students were held May 3–4 at Harold Alfond Sports Arena.
An estimated 1,616 undergraduates participated in the 222nd commencement undergraduate ceremonies. The morning ceremony recognized students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Education and Human Development, Maine Business School and the Division of Lifelong Learning, while the afternoon ceremony recognized students in the Maine College of Engineering and Computing and the College of Earth, Life, and Health Sciences.

More than 500 graduate students received advanced degrees, including 52 doctoral candidates at the Graduate School Commencement. In total, UMaine conferred more than 700 advanced degrees. A news release for all UMaine ceremonies is available online.
UMaine’s regional campus, the University of Maine at Machias, held its 113th commencement ceremony on May 5 for 55 graduates.
